Disclaimer:
Although walk leaders exercise reasonable care in organising and conducting
walks, neither they nor The Ramblers can accept responsibility for injury to persons or for
damage to property during walks.
In extreme weather conditions,
particularly snow, ice, heavy continuous rain, please check that the walk is
still going to take place. All walks take place entirely at the leader's
discretion.
Security: You are advised to lock
and secure a parked car. Do not leave money or valuables in it.
Dogs
must not be allowed to run amongst
walkers' feet and should be kept under close control when requested by the

Walkers should be aware of the prevalence of ticks in the New Forest and
the dangers of contracting Lyme disease. For information on prevention and
symptoms of the disease, please click here.

special browser 'plug-in'. If you do not already have it, this can
be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe
website.) Campaigners at Tick Alert are conducting the
first-ever public survey of ticks in the UK and abroad. They are
concerned that global warming is causing the tick to spread further
across Europe and to survive beyond its usual spring/summer life-cycle.
